A tool in the form of a tutorial, was developed to allow all partners (and further interested participants) to, in an interactive though simplified manner, through a choices matrix set by an array of consequent questions, assess the status of the territories that constitute their small forest holdings, and, according to results, be able to identify priorities of intervention and implement appropriate measures. This tutorial provides information in a language understandable by elderly smallholders, but with justified technical detail to be useful for technicians and seasoned practitioners. It is available in all partner languages plus english.

The tutorial addresses key concepts related to the project, such as forest biodiversity, forest health, good practices, forestry techniques, among others, in a simple way, but convening the highest quality standards followed in certification processe. It is a non formal learning resource that can be adopted not only by the partners, but by all interested audiences.
